Welcome to Year 6

 



Year Six Class has adopted the British Value of 'Equity'.
Throughout the year, we will be learning about ways we can promote fairness

at school, home and within society.

Maths
  • Times Table Rockstars Can you beat your nest score? Can you decrease your rock speed and increase the number of correct answers you get?
  • My Mini Maths Try to complete at least 4 'Mini Maths' sessions each week. They don't take long and are great in helping to increase confidence, speed and accuracy!
English

Practise the curriculum word list & your weekly spellings.

  • Spelling Frame Choose a spelling rule then choose to either practise the spelling or take a test with those words. All words are read aloud (make sure your sound is turned up) and provided within a sentence for context. If you're struggling on a particular spelling pattern or rule, you can practise that. Don't think you can't go back and revisit Year 3 & Year 4 spellings either - it will be good to revise and refresh your memory!
