Come & See

Year 6 class has adopted the Gospel value and virtue of 'Commitment' and 'Reflectiveness'. Throughout the year, we will be learning about ways we can promote and show fairness and commitment at school, home and within society, and how we can do this with genuine reflection.

Commitment - Deuteronomy 26:17

Today you say the Lord is your God: you promise to obey him, to keep all his laws, and to do what he tells you to do.

Once we have decided to love the Lord and do as he tells us, you will see that he will always take care of us.

Reflectiveness - Proverbs 16:23

Wise people think before they speak, so their words are more effective.

Reflectiveness is to take time to think something over. This is sometimes difficult because it requires time and space. The writer of this proverb tells us that wise people take some time to think before they speak, they reflect on what they are going to say and so they are more effective when they speak.
