Nursery

Welcome to Nursery

Class Teacher - Mrs R Fidler

Teaching Assistants;

Mrs S Meath

Miss C Riley

Mrs A Brown

Nursery Class has adopted the Gospel value & virtue of 'happiness' and 'beauty'.

Happiness - Ephesians 6:2-3

The commandment that ends with a promise is: Honour your father and your mother so that you may live a happy life.

St. Paul reminds us, in his letter to the Ephesians, that those who honour their father and their mother will have a happy life.

Beauty - Psalm 8:3-4

When I look up at the heavens, the moon and the stars you set firm - what are we that you think of us: we are so small, yet you care for us.

Think about the world around us. Notice the beauty of the trees and the flowers, of all the different people and animals. Look up at the sky and the clouds: the sun in the daytime and the moon and stars at night.

Nursery Class have adopted the British Value of 'Friendship'.
Throughout the Nursery year, we will be learning to become good friends.

Class Information

The Nursery gate is opened at 9.55. Children are greeted by Mrs Fidler and are supported and encouraged to independently manage their coats, lunch boxes and bags.

For children accessing mornings only, the session finishes at 12.00pm, and 3.00pm for those who are full time.

Clothing: We kindly ask that the children wear velcro pumps for nursery with their uniform and brig a pair of wellies that can be kept in nursery.

Snack - We provide snacks each day for your child. This varies daily from crackers/toast and fruit. If possible, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £1 per week towards this which can be passed to Mrs Fidler.

Names on clothing - Please ensure that all items of your child’s clothing, including pumps, hats, gloves etc are clearly labelled with their name.

Class Dojo

In Nursery we will be using Class Dojo as a platform to share photographs and videos. You can also send photos and videos from home. We always enjoy looking at these in the classroom.

We look forward to working with you to support your child's learning in a fun and engaging way this year. Keep checking on Class Story on the Class Dojo page for latest posts.  If you have any problems logging in to Class Dojo, please ask Mrs Fidler for the login letter for your child).
