Year 6 children who are attending Maricourt High School in September, will be visiting the school on Thursday 29th June for a transition day. The children are to go straight to Maricourt and have a full day there, exploring their new educational surroundings for September.
Children in St.Gregory's School Choir will be visiting Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ The King on Wednesday 28th June. The children will leave school at 9am and will arrive back for lunchtime.
This is another opportunity for parents to come along and enjoy KS2 Summer performance of Shakespeare Rocks!
Year 6 children will be performing in Shakespeare Rocks! This is a wonderful play and one which we know our parents are going to thoroughly enjoy. The children will be supported by Years 5, 4 and 3. Times for performances will be issued nearer the time.
All children at St.Gregory's will be taking part in our Sports Day on Friday 23rd June.
Nursery, Reception and KS1 classes will take place from 9.15am and KS2 classes will take place from 1.15pm.
Please come along and join in the fun. Refreshments and a raffle will be available for each event.
Parents of children who will be joining Reception class in September are invited to attend a Parent's Information Meeting on Wednesday 14th June at 6.30pm. This is a very important meeting and each child should have a representative in attendance. This is not a meeting for children, so please try your best to arrange childcare for this meeting. There will be lots of information provided to parents and starting dates for September.
Our school nurses will be visiting on Wednesday 14th June to carry out vision and hearing screening on children in Reception Class. Parents have previously received information about this visit.
Children in Reception Class will be visiting Imagine That! in Liverpool on Tuesday 13th June, for a fun day out. The children will learn lots of scientific facts and participate in experiments, as well as playing in the dressing up area, climbing wall and much more.

St.Gregory's Fundraising Team "Friends of St.Gregory's " will be holding a fundraising meeting on Monday 12th June at 5.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and share your ideas.
Children in Year 4 will be visiting Malham for their 2 night residential trip. Enjoy Year 4!
