The results are in from the 'Maghull in bloom' judges...
It was a very close call.
St. Gregory's has been awarded 'runner up' in the MADCOS School Garden Competition.
Huge thanks to Aunty Pat and all the children who have helped to grow a variety of flowers and vegetables from seed, spent gardening club weeding and watering all the plants.
Thanks also to all the parents and grandparents who gave up their time to help out whenever they could. We are so grateful!
Maghull in Bloom Judges will be judging our school garden on Wednesday 18th July.
Gardening Club will therefore take place on Tuesday 17th July instead of the usual Thursday session.
This will be the last gardening session for this year.
Gardening club will start up again in the Autumn Term.
All our children will be showcasing their models and creations in our first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Exhibition in the School Hall straight after school on Tuesday 17th July.
Parents/grandparents are very welcome to see the range of work our pupils have been working on.
The children will be able to collect the items they have made during the exhibition.
We will be having our Country Fayre on the school field and playground after school on Thursday 5th July.
We are having lots of stalls and fun games.
We hope you will support this event so we can raise funds for our school.
