  • Year 2 - Maritime Museum

    Children in Year 2 are visiting the Maritime Museum in Liverpool on Tuesday 29th November. A letter has been sent home with children showing all details of the trip. The coach will be leaving school at 9am as we have a timetable for lessons at the museum.

    If you have not yet sent in your permission slip and payment for this trip please ensure that you send it on Monday.
  • Launch of Parent App

    St.Gregory’s Catholic Primary School Parent App has now been launched. This is a wonderful tool for parents to have easy access for communication. Children have brought home letters and a leaflet with information all about the App and how to install it on your phone.

    Please follow the simple instructions and make sure that you also register to the App.

    This method of communication will now replace our parentmail email system.
  • Bikeability Session Number 2

    Bikeability Session - Number 2

    Children of Year 5 will be completing the Bikeability sessions on Friday 25th November. Only children who have passed all Level One will be able to complete the course. Please remember to bring own bike, waterproof clothing, helmet and gloves for this session.

  • MUFTI DAY (Own clothes)

    All children at St.Gregory’s are welcome to wear their own clothes on Friday 25th November for a PTA Mufti-Day event.
    We would be grateful if you could donate hamper products for this event, ie tins, coffee, teabags, biscuits etc.
    All donations given will go towards the Christmas Bingo Night on Friday 2nd December which will be replacing our Christmas Fayre this year. 
  • PTA Meeting

    St. Gregory's PTA will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 22nd November at 6.30pm to discuss our Christmas Bingo event on 2nd December and other fund raising events. Please come along and show your support!
  • Year 5 - Bikeability Session

    Friday 18th November

    Children in Year 5 will be participating in a Bikeability course. This gives the children “confidence, skills and road safety awareness when riding their bikes through local streets and to and from school.

    Children are to bring their bikes and helmets into school for this event with a waterproof coat and gloves. Please ensure that your child's bike is in good working order and road worthy. 

    A letter has been sent home with children recently with all relevant information.

  • Year 6 Swimming Gala

    Friday 18th November

     Some children from Year 6 will be attending a Swimming Gala on Friday 18th November. If your child has been selected for this event  he/she will have recently taken a letter home with all relevant details about the gala.

  • Mufti Day - Friday 18th November

     Friday 18th November - MUFTI Day

     We shall be holding a Mufti Day (own clothes day) on Friday 18th    November. We would be grateful for a donation of box of chocolates or selection boxes please.

    The donations are for a PTA Christmas Bingo Night on 2nd December. Limited tickets are still available from the school office. Admission will not be given on the night to any person without a ticket.
  • Anti-Bullying Week

    St.Gregory's Catholic Primary School will be celebrating Friendship week when we will be addressing AntiBullying issues. Children will be participating in class discussions and activities relating to this subject. 
    Bullying is never acceptable and at St.Gregory's Catholic Primary School everyone has a voice in raising awareness of bullying.

    We would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who supported the Operation Christmas Chilld Shoebox Appeal. Our pupils brought in 70 boxes for this charity, all jam-packed with toys, toiletries, stationery & sweets etc. They are heading to children in countries where there may be war or poverty...Just imagine how delighted the children will be to open one of these shoeboxes.
