Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
There will be a special 'Welcome Assembly' for all the new children who have started at St. Gregory's School this term.
The children will be welcomed by their buddies and other pupils.
Reception children will all sing a special song and show their paintings.
Parents & grandparents of Reception children and new children are all very welcome to come to the School Hall on Friday 21st September at 9.15am to see the children perform.
We hope that every child will have a representative there for them.
Reception parents are invited to attend an informative Reading meeting in the School Hall at 6pm on Tuesday 18th September.
Mrs McDonnell will explain how synthetic phonics and early reading is taught to the children and will suggest ways for parents to support their children in their reading journey.
The meeting should last no more than an hour.
Please note that this meeting is for adults, not children.
We will be holding our Annual Sponsored Walk on Friday 15th September, weather permitting.
This is a fun event for all our pupils from Reception to Year 6 to help raise much needed school funds.
All money raised will be spread throughout the classes to purchase essential items for the children to use in their lessons.
Sponsor forms will be sent home this week.
Thank you for your generous support.
(If it rains, we will try to arrange this event for another day.)
Welcome back to St. Gregory's!
We hope that all our families have had a wonderful holiday and that the children are ready to start their new school term with enthusiasm!
We look forward to working with all the children and their families over this academic year.
Thank you for all the support you give.
