• Walk to school

  Jane from 'Living Streets' came to talk to everyone in Assembly about the new 'Walk to school' initiative. 'Strider' the mascot even made a surprise visit!

  Starting from December, the children will register how they travel to school each day and will receive badges to encourage them to walk all or part of the way to school (bikes and scooters are included).

  The class with the most children participating each week will receive a class trophy.

  

• Mufti Days

  Parents are asked to kindly donate the following items on School Mufti days to use as prizes for the 'Friends of St. Gregory's' Christmas Bingo event.

  The bingo event will take place on Friday 1st December between 6.30 - 8.30pm.

  Mufti Days:

  Friday 10th November - Boxes of chocolates/Selection boxes

  Friday 17th November - Bottles of wine/spirits

  Friday 24th November - Toiletries for Pamper Hampers

• 'Friends of St. Gregory's' Meeting

  You are warmly invited to join the 'Friends of St. Gregory's' group at 3.30pm on Thursday 9th November to discuss our next fundraising event -the Christmas Bingo night.

  (The Christmas Bingo event is to take place on Friday 1st December 6.30- 8.30pm.)

   

  If you wish to attend this meeting and you are stuck for child-care, your child may come to The Hub (our after school club) free of charge for the duration of the meeting.

• Christmas Shoebox Appeal

  We are supporting Samaritan's purse Christmas Child Shoebox appeal again this year.

  Thank you for all the shoeboxes that have already been sent to school, filled with lots of goodies for children in poorer and war-torn countries in our world.

  If you would like to support this charity, please send in your shoebox by Wednesday 8th November.
