The solar eclipse

We went outside to watch the solar eclipse.
We saw the moon blocking the light from the sun.
It started to go dark and we felt it go colder.
All the birds seemed to stop singing too!
We did not look directly at the sun as it could have seriously damaged our eyes.
We looked through holes in paper and  the holes in the colanders to see the eclipse.
The next time we will see a partial solar eclipse is in 2026 when we will be 15 or 16!!
