• A New Year's resolution...Reduce plastic waste!

  Let's start our new year with helping our Earth by recycling more and by throwing away less plastic.

  Plastic waste takes a long time to break down and is threatening the health of our planet.

  We need to protect the planet for our children and their children to enjoy.

  Think of ways you can make a difference!

  Our Eco club at school will be spreading this message and working on ways to reduce plastic waste.

   

   

• WOW - 'Walk once a week' - The year-round walk to school challenge 2018

  We would like to encourage as many of our pupils as possible to join in with the 'WOW' Challenge - walk or scoot/cycle once a week - (the year-round walk to school challenge for 2018).

  Class teachers will be asking pupils how they have travelled to school and recording the journey data.

  Each child will get a 'WOW' badge if they walk, scoot or cycle at least once a week each month...it's that easy!

   

  We will be continuing our 'Wheelie Wednesdays' throughout the year to help reduce the amount of cars parking outside the school fence. Try to park a little further away from school and walk/scoot/cycle the rest of the journey.
