School Meals

School menus are carefully developed to appeal to children and provide a perfect balance of essential nutrients and also offer children  the opportunity of trying some meals they may not have tried before. Your child can choose from two main meal options provided every day, each one accompanied by a vegetable or salad choice. Jacket potatoes with an assortment of popular and tasty fillings are also available, served with an attractive side salad. In addition to their main meal, children can choose from a dessert which could be  a selection of yoghurts, cheese and crackers or fresh fruit. Fruit drinks and water are also available.

We also offer a healthy deli-bar on Tuesday and Thursday each week, where the children can choose a filling of their choice for a wrap, together with salad from the salad bar.

School meals provides the opportunity to further develop children's social skills as they sit down with friends to enjoy their lunch and using cutlery provided. School meals help to encourage good eating habits from a young age.

School Meals cost £2.25 per day, we offer a flexible dining option where your child can have hot dinners as follows:

                                        Option 1)  All Week = £11.25

                                        Option 2)  Monday & Friday = £4.50

                                        Option 3)  Monday, Wednesday & Friday = £6.75

As we are a cashless school, School Meals are charged to your child's ParentPay account at the beginning of each school day.

We encourage children who bring packed lunch to school to adopt our healthy eating policy.

Universal Free School Meals

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive government funding for Universal Free School Meals. This entitles the children to be able to receive a school meal free of charge for as long as this initiative is in operation.

All Parents are encouraged to check to see if they are entitled to free school meals for their children, regardless of this initiative, as this provides additional funding for schools to enable schools to purchase further resources or support for children.
