Reception showed a lot of interest in dinosaurs in the first weeks of school, so we decided that our first Drawing Club book should be Harry and a Bucketful of Dinosaurs. As well as all the amazing drawings that our Reception children created, we had lots of imaginative small world play – the dinosaurs even ended up in the water tray for a bath! In one of the stories we read, Harry takes his dinosaurs on an adventure to his school, so Reception decided to fill a bucket with their dinosaurs and take them on an adventure around our school. Our grown-ups even froze the dinosaurs one day, and we had to figure out how we could help the dinosaurs to escape!
